Fixed-fare private transfers from Appin — the plateau town above the Cataract gorge, halfway between the Illawarra and Macarthur — to Sydney Airport, Western Sydney Airport and both cruise terminals. Booked ahead, priced before you travel, and paid on the day you actually go.
Wollondilly Airport Shuttle runs private, pre-booked door-to-door transfers from Appin (NSW 2560) to Sydney Airport, Western Sydney Airport, White Bay Cruise Terminal and the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Fares start at $179 one way for one or two passengers and reach $389 for eleven in a single minibus, with tolls, GST, luggage and child seats included. Sydney Airport is 62 km from the Appin shops on Appin Road, about 1 hr 1 min; Western Sydney Airport is closer at 50 km, roughly 47 min, with its own fixed fare of $149. Quote on 0494 915 995 or through the form — the fare is paid in advance to confirm the booking.
Published fares, no surge
One or two passengers travel from Appin for a fixed $179 one way. Above that the price moves seat by seat rather than with the traffic or the clock.

| 11 | Minibus | $389 | the maximum in a single vehicle |
Prices are per vehicle, not per person — eleven passengers pay $389 in total, about $35 a seat, which is why groups do well here. Paid in advance to confirm your booking and lock in the vehicle. Fares reviewed August 2026.
Why does each airport have its own fare? A published price per suburb for each destination is what lets us answer a quote in a sentence instead of a callback. Appin is $179 to Kingsford Smith, $149 to Badgerys Creek and $219 to either cruise wharf.
Sized to the booking
We match the class to the passengers and the bags. The band already covers it, so the larger boot is never a surcharge.

Every class includes the same things. The only thing that changes between cards is how many people and how much luggage fit.
What the drive looks like
Allow about 1 hr 1 min for the 62 km. The route runs north on Appin Road to Campbelltown, then onto the M5 and east through the M5 East.
Appin Road carries heavy mine and truck traffic and is slow to overtake on; the tunnel does the rest. That allowance goes into your pickup time rather than into an optimistic arrival estimate.
Appin sits between two catchments and a lot of its working population travels for work rather than holidays, so the early-hours run is the staple. Appin Road itself is the reason we build in more buffer here than the distance implies. Coming the other way, off the M5 at Campbelltown and south on Appin Road. By night the mine and truck traffic that makes this road slow in the daytime has largely gone, which makes the evening run considerably better than the morning one. That leg is covered on the Sydney Airport to Appin page.
Timed to your departure
Terminal three hours ahead for an international departure and two hours for a domestic one, less the 1 hr 1 min drive and an allowance for the run in.
Pickup around 1:59am. It is ordinary work on this run rather than a special request.
Around 2:59am for a T2 or T3 departure. Properties strung along Appin Road with limited stopping.
Around 4:59am, which clears the worst of the weekday build-up at the city end.
Treat these as the starting point. Send the flight number when you book and we set the exact minute against that day — school terms, long weekends and roadworks all shift it.
Kingsford Smith, both directions

Straight to the limousine pickup bay once you are through customs. The flight is on our sheet, so border queues and a slow belt are our problem rather than yours — an hour from touchdown is included.
The priority pickup zone at T2 and T3, with forty minutes from landing included. Send a text as you leave the baggage hall and the car is at the door.
Door pickup anywhere in Appin. Properties strung along Appin Road with limited stopping. Give us the number and we will approach from the side that lets the driver pull clear.
Two airports, two fixed fares
Appin to WSI is a longer cross-country run than most of the Campbelltown and Menangle district but still under the Kingsford Smith distance. Western Sydney International is on our standard list and we are quoting it now.
about 47 min · toll-free on our route
North on Appin Road to Campbelltown then west across to The Northern Road. A longer cross-country run than most of the Campbelltown and Menangle district but still under the Kingsford Smith distance, and without the tunnel. Route detail on the Appin to WSI page.
about 1 hr 1 min · Hume, M5 and tunnel
The airport with the full international network, and the terminal most departures from here still use.
$179 to Sydney Airport, $149 to Western Sydney. 12 kilometres and 14 minutes shorter to Badgerys Creek, no tolls on our route, and no airport station access fee, because the car stops at the terminal door.

There is no station in the locality, which narrows the field considerably.
| Option | Typical cost (2 adults) | Door to terminal | What it actually involves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $179 fixed | ~1 hr 1 min, door to door | one vehicle from your door, luggage included, at whatever hour the flight or the ship demands |
| Train from Campbelltown (T8 direct) | a lift to the station, Opal fares, plus $18.61 access fee each | 2.5 hrs or more, all up | there is no station here, so somebody has to drive you to Douglas Park or Menangle first; from there services are infrequent, need a change at Campbelltown, and none run early enough for a morning flight |
| Rideshare or taxi | metered, and surge-dependent | ~1 hr 1 min if a car accepts | appin's working population travels at every hour, so late arrivals are routine for us here — and the long fare back late at night is one many drivers decline |
| Drive and park | fuel and tolls plus from about $190 a week in budget long-stay parking | ~1 hr 1 min plus the car park shuttle | workable for two people on a short trip, until you add the pre-dawn self-drive, the car park shuttle and a fortnight of parking fees |
The station access fee is Transport for NSW's published charge for entering or leaving an airport rail station, and the parking figure is Sydney Airport's advertised long-stay rate at the time of writing — check both before you decide. Rail can suit one person with hand luggage on a mid-morning flight; it stops suiting anyone with a second passenger, checked bags or a departure before dawn.
One vehicle, one number

Eleven passengers travel in one vehicle for $389 — about $35 a seat, against three separate cars, three sets of parking or three rideshare fares. Extended families, sports teams and friends flying out together all book this way.
Send the number of bags along with the number of people — on longer itineraries the luggage, not the headcount, decides which vehicle comes. Child restraints are fitted beforehand and included in the fare.
The honest comparison
Appin's working population travels at every hour, so late arrivals are routine for us here. What is not routine is finding any other way to make the trip after dark.
Metered and surge pricing over a run this long is decided by the traffic and the hour. Our fare is agreed at booking, tolls and GST included, and does not move afterwards.
The return leg is where unbooked plans come apart: a long fare out of the city late at night is one most drivers decline. A booked car is already on the sheet.
What booking ahead buys you
No shared loop collecting strangers, no interchange and no other passengers unless they are yours. The vehicle runs your trip only.
Which way out is quicker on a given morning, and where the delays start, is knowledge that comes from driving it weekly rather than following a map app.
A late landing moves the pickup automatically and at no cost — an hour of grace at international, forty minutes at domestic, timed from touchdown.
Payment in advance confirms the booking and locks in the vehicle. The fare is paid in advance of travel and we email the invoice if you want one.
Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters fitted before the vehicle leaves, at no charge, provided we have the ages in advance.
Pre-dawn starts, public holidays and the last arrival of the night are ordinary work — the booking is what makes them dependable.

Answered plainly
A fixed $179 one way for one or two passengers, rising to $389 for eleven in a single minibus. Tolls, GST, child seats and one suitcase plus one carry-on each are included in every figure, and the price does not change once quoted.
About 1 hr 1 min for the 62 km in normal conditions. The route runs north on Appin Road to Campbelltown, then onto the M5 and east through the M5 East. Allow more through the weekday morning peak.
About 1:59am. We target the terminal three hours before an international departure and two hours before a domestic one, then work back through the drive and a traffic allowance. Send the flight number and we will set the exact minute.
No. The nearest station on the airport line is Campbelltown, about 16 km away, so somebody has to drive you there first. From Campbelltown the T8 Airport and South Line runs direct to the domestic and international stations in about 45 minutes, and the airport stations add an $18.61 access fee per adult on top of the Opal fare. The first trains are too late for an early flight.
It can be for two people on a short trip — budget long-stay parking starts around $190 a week. Add fuel and tolls both ways, the pre-dawn self-drive and the shuttle bus from the car park, and the gap narrows quickly; for a group it disappears entirely.

Yes — WSI is 50 km and about 47 min away against 62 km and 1 hr 1 min to Kingsford Smith. Appin to WSI is a longer cross-country run than most of the Campbelltown and Menangle district but still under the Kingsford Smith distance. The WSI fare is $149 one way, against $179 to Kingsford Smith.
Yes — eleven passengers with luggage in one minibus for $389, about $35 a seat. That is almost always cheaper than two or three cars and it keeps the group together against a check-in deadline.
Usually, and availability tends to settle it before price does. Appin's working population travels at every hour, so late arrivals are routine for us here. A metered fare over 62 km also moves with the traffic, while ours is agreed before you travel.
No separate deposit. Payment in advance confirms the booking and locks in your vehicle. You pay in advance by card or PayID, or cash by arrangement, and we email a tax invoice afterwards if you want one.
We watch the flight, so the car arrives when you do. A full hour from wheels-down at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3 are included at no charge, however late the aircraft is.
Yes, at no cost. Capsules, forward-facing seats and boosters are installed before departure — just give us the ages at the time of booking.
Every day of the year. Pre-dawn departures and last-arrival collections are ordinary work here — it is the advance booking that makes them dependable, not the hour.

No. No free or public shuttle bus runs from Appin to Sydney Airport. The courtesy buses people mention are hotel shuttles around Mascot, which only run between the terminals and the hotels nearby. From Appin the realistic choices are the train, a taxi or rideshare, driving and parking, or a pre-booked transfer like ours at a fixed $179.
Aim to be at the terminal two hours before a domestic departure and three hours before an international one. From Appin the drive is about 1 hr 1 min for 62 km, so for a 9am domestic flight we would usually collect you around 5:39am, and earlier if you need to reach the airport in peak traffic between 5am and 10am.
For one person with hand luggage on a mid-morning flight, usually the train: a lift to Campbelltown and the T8 direct to the airport, paying the Opal fare plus the $18.61 airport station access fee. For two or more people, checked bags or a flight before about 9am, our fixed $179 fare is usually cheaper in practice and quicker door to door.
